Expressway Terms and Conditions

  1. You must register for the Expressway Loyalty Program by completing the enrollment form on Advantage.com, or with assistance from an authorized Advantage employee.
  2. The Expressway Loyalty Program and these term and conditions are only valid after the program’s start date of December 8, 2014.
  3. You must be 21 years of age with a valid US driver’s license to enroll in the Expressway Loyalty Program.
  4. You must have a valid email address in order to enroll. Please add no-reply@advantage.com and expressway@advantage.com to your contact list.
  5. Submission of enrollment form shall be consent to:
    • opt-in and receive rewards notification via SMS/text messaging
    • opt-in to receive promotional emails
  6. Earn Rewards for future rentals that are booked through the Advantage.com website; Rewards will not be applied toward any taxes, fees, surcharges or other incremental charges unless otherwise specified.
  7. In the event that an upgrade of any type is issued as a Reward, that upgrade is based upon availability at the time of rental. For clarification that means that a vehicle of a higher car class than that which was reserved has to be on the lot and available for rental. All Rewards for upgrades and optional services are based on availability at the counter at the time of rental. If an upgrade or optional service is not available at the time of rental then the Reward will not be honored. If the Reward on your reservation was not honored at the time of rental then it can be reissued to your Expressway account upon request.
  8. Expressway Rewards accumulate and can only be stored at Advantage.com. Rewards will expire after 12 months from date of issue. Expired Rewards will be lost and cannot be reissued.
  9. Unless otherwise specified, Expressway Rewards may not be combined. Only one Reward can be applied to each transaction.
  10. Expressway Rewards may not be combined with other Advantage promotional offers, and may not be used with promotions/specials/coupons from companies other than Advantage.
  11. Earn one Reward for each rental. Advantage determines the Reward and they are not substitutable. Rewards can only be earned when renting at Advantage Locations and when the rental is booked through the Advantage website while logged into your account. The e-mail address that is linked to your account must also be entered when booking the reservation to ensure that the rental is linked it your account.
  12. Use and application of an Expressway Reward credit can only be made at the time a reservation is made at Advantage.com. Rewards cannot be applied later or at the time of pickup. Rewards must be attached to a reservation at the time of booking.
  13. Promotional offers may be offered exclusively to Expressway members via Expressway promotions and/or Expressway Member Specials and are only valid when the reservation is made in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Expressway Loyalty Program. All promotional offers must be applied to the reservation at the time the reservation is made.
  14. A reservation must be eligible to receive Expressway Rewards for an exclusive Expressway member coupon or promotional Reward to be applied to a reservation. Additional Terms and Conditions may apply based on the individual coupon and/or promotional Reward.
  15. Newly earned Expressway Rewards will only be added to your account after you have picked up the rental vehicle. Expressway Rewards can only be used towards future rentals booked through Advantage.com.
  16. It may take up to ten (10) business days for your earned Reward to post to your Expressway Account. Advantage is not responsible for any technical or systematic malfunctions which inadvertently delays or causes Rewards to be temporarily unavailable.
  17. Expressway Rewards cannot be earned on previous rentals. Only future reservations made using your Expressway account after you have enrolled in the Expressway Loyalty Program will be eligible to receive Expressway Rewards.
  18. Expressway Rewards cannot be transferred to another account holder.
  19. Expressway Rewards cannot be redeemed for cash.
  20. Advantage reservations agents and rental counter agents are not able to redeem Rewards or make adjustments to an Expressway account. For assistance with your Expressway account, please reach out to our Expressway team at expressway@advantage.com.
  21. Advantage Rent A Car reserves the right cancel this program at any time without restriction or prior notification.
  22. Advantage Rent A Car reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions and the types of Rewards that are included at any time without prior notice to Expressway account holders. It is the responsibility of Expressway account holders to regularly review these terms and conditions.
  23. All other Policies and Procedures set forth by Advantage Rent A Car apply. It is the responsibility of all Expressway account holders to read and abide by the policies and procedures set forth by Advantage Rent A Car.
  24. For those members that registered for the Expressway Loyalty Program through a reservation agent over the phone and have not received any information about your account, please reach out to our Expressway team at expressway@advantage.com for further assistance.
  25. Your login name is your email address. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your Expressway account password at https://www.advantage.com/forgot-password-request.
  26. Renter is responsible for 100% of all Taxes and other surcharges accrued against the total rental amount.
  27. Questions, comments or concerns regarding the Expressway Loyalty Program must be sent to expressway@advantage.com.
