Thank you for visiting Advantage Rent A Car for more information on our partnership with Europcar. We now offer all Europcar locations throughout Europe and South America through the Advantage Rent A Car website, making it easier for you to do business with us. Here, you can find all current Europcar specials to help with your booking needs. We look forward to working with you. We’ve provided some additional information that is below:

CAR RENTAL RESERVATION INFORMATION

Europcar reservations will be honored 24 hours from pickup time.

The Europcar Privilege Account Number

Appears in the Alternate ID and Broadcast Note field so that we can identify a high value Privilege customer and track the Corporate and Privilege rentals and report them back to Europcar.

Cancellation

Where a credit card is required to guarantee a reservation, you must cancel more then 24 hours in advance or you will be charged a minimum of one day rental charges plus taxes and appropriate fees.


RENTAL CAR RATE INFORMATION

Pricing is already established in contractual agreement.

Extended Contracts

  • Extended contracts are subject to retail rate.
  • Optional services are subject to optional service fee.

2nd Optional service fee

  • This is only used to show the amount that will be charged in the event of an extension or overdue contract.

Vouchers

  • Are good for a definitive amount of days. Once they exceed the says the customer will be charged retail rate (this applies for contracts that are picked up early, extended, or overdue).

PICK UP PROCEDURES

Privilege and Corporate Customer Programs

    • The Europcar Privilege account number appears in the Alternate ID and Broadcast Note field.
    • When you see this message: “Europcar’s Loyalty Program” and the program number, you will know that this customer must be welcomed with a special greeting as follows:

“Thanks for booking with Europcar.
We appreciate your business and loyalty.”

  • Disclose all additional charges to the customer at the time of rent (review the summary of charges with the client).
  • $200.00 deposit

COVERAGE/INSURANCE AND PAYMENT INFORMATION

Make sure the light bulb is clicked to identify the proper coverages and payment info.
Items Included

  • Optional Services included in the rental package.

Non-included

  • Customer will pay for these services if agreed upon.

Deposit Requirements

  • TSD will automatically add the $200 deposit after CC/Debit card swipe.

Domestic Renters

  • Optional Services included in the rental package will be honored.

Prepaid Debit Cards/Stored Value/Gift Cards are NEVER ACCEPTED to qualify for rental
(they can be used for payment at return).


ACCIDENT/INCIDENT/TOLLS/VIOLATIONS/CITATIONS INFORMATION
Accident

  • Should be handled like any other incident for Advantage/EZ customers.

Tolls/Violations

  • Should be handled like any other incident for Advantage/EZ customers.

Citations

  • Should be handled like any other incident for Advantage/EZ customers.

OTHER INFORMATION
Underage fee

  • Applies for 21 to 24 (unless included in package).
  • Vehicles are not allowed to be driven in Mexico.
  • Vehicles can be driven in Canada.

Vouchers are not refundable, even if the customer returns early.
Local Renters Within 65 Miles

  • Present a return flight segment of a round trip airline ticket or electronic ticket for a flight leaving from within the renting state.

Local Renters Within 65 Miles without Airline Ticket

  • Written proof of liability insurance covering injury to third persons or their property.
