Advantage is committed to providing environmentally conscientious travelers with a fleet of 100% fuel efficient vehicles by the end of 2010. We plan to go green, with the assistance of our automobile providers, and offer choices consistent with our pledge to protect the environment with each and every rental.

We've made a lot of progress towards this goal already. More than half of our fleet is currently capable of 28 MPG and is EPA Certified SmartWay. SmartWay vehicles must earn a minimum of 6 points on both Greenhouse Gas and Air Pollution indexes, and achieve a combined score of 13 or higher. These cars are considered very good environmental performers, relative to other vehicles. Our EPA Certified SmartWay fleet includes the Dodge Caliber, Chrysler Sebring, and Dodge Charger. And our fuel efficient offerings, capable of 28 MPG or better, include the Hyundai Sonata, Chevrolet Cobalt, and Chevrolet Aveo.
