ADVANTAGE RENT-A-CAR CELEBRATES Grand Opening In Consolidated Car Rental Facility At Phoenix SKY HARBOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
SAN ANTONIO, Texas (January 2006). Advantage Rent A Car, the nation’s largest independently owned regional car rental company, celebrates the January opening of the car rental facility at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Local dignitaries including Phoenix mayor, Phil Gordon along with Advantage Rent A Car’s C.E.O., Jim Walker and hundreds of others were on hand to celebrate the grand opening on Friday, January 13.
“The consolidated car rental facility at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is designed to accommodate a twenty year growth pattern for this market,” said Steve Hibler, Advantage Rent A Car Regional Director. “We are pleased to participate as one of 12 car rental vendors servicing the greater Phoenix area;
and to serve our customers in the finest facility in the nation is an amazing bonus.”
The consolidated facility will accommodate nearly 5,600 vehicles, and serve customers in over 120,000 square feet of modern, environmentally-friendly retail space. Occupying 23 acres of the 141 acre property, this building is the largest building in the state of Arizona. Advantage occupies a unique space that incorporates an efficient layout of service counters providing individual privacy for their customers. The state-of-the art design also offers a customer service area featuring internet access with printing capabilities.
Advantage Rent A Car has served Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport since 1990 with a wide-variety of Chrysler vehicles that number just over 1,000 today. Advantage’s Easy Rental customer is advised to proceed directly to the Ready-Return area by following the signs to the Advantage escalator upon entering the consolidated facility. All other renters should continue directly to Advantage’s customer service space located in the center of the facility.
